I generally dislike the term ‘always on’, but for the gigging musician, I can absolutely see the CloudDriver serving as a tone enhancing first placement on a pedalboard.

• Clear – Blends clean signal into the clipping stage. Higher settings yield more transparency and openness, while lower settings introduce compression for a tighter, more saturated overdrive.

• Bright – Adds or cuts high frequencies in the drive sound, letting you dial in presence without harshness.

• Mode I/II Switch – Switches between two clipping modes. Mode I is a soft-clipping silicon setting, great for pedal-like overdrive. Mode II uses transistor clipping for a more amp-like response that feels highly dynamic and touch-sensitive.
